A pedestal system does one specific structural job: it lifts a hard-covering floor off the structural surface underneath, on a grid of height-adjustable supports, so the covering can be removed section by section for access.
That access is the reason pedestals get specified on rooftop terraces and balconies in the first place — Cyprus's flat-roof construction typically carries a waterproofing membrane, and drainage outlets, cabling or plumbing on that surface need to stay reachable long after the finish is down. Two variables usually decide which sub-range fits: whether the structural surface is sloped (roofs are built with a fall for drainage), and whether a fixed or adjustable height is enough. We'll ask about both before recommending KP, KPS or KPF.

Specifying a Pedestal System
- Substrate slope: a sloped structural roof or terrace needs the KPS range's angle compensation (up to 7°); a level surface can use KP or KPF.
- Covering material: the system is compatible with ceramic, natural stone, wood, WPC composite and terrazzo coverings, and with aluminium support profiles.
- Joint spacing: the DX joint spacer accessory sets 2, 3, 4 or 5 mm gaps between covering units.
- Acoustic and angle accessories: the PDX pad adds sound-dampening PVC (2 mm), and the PCX pad provides a fixed 2° angle correction where needed.
